About

Hi! 👋 My name is Marta Freddio, a motion designer with 10 years of experience, based in Bologna.

My adventure with motion graphics began thanks to a scholarship at IED Milan, won through a photography competition where I took first place. From there, despite countless detours, I never left the field of motion graphics — I worked at various video production agencies before eventually going freelance.

For eight years, I was the artistic director of RabbitFest, an international animation film festival based in Perugia, where I had the privilege of seeing work from all over the world — different techniques and approaches that opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of animation. Since 2012, I've held a Master of Arts in Post-Production with Visual Effects from the University of York, in the UK — one that Italy has never officially recognized. I also have a degree in Humanities, a second-level diploma in Visual and Motion Design from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino, a film projectionist's license, and a sound technician certificate.

Over the last three years, I've turned my passion for podcasts into a job with the production company Loud Stories, with whom I produce podcasts for both children and adults.

In short, I like a lot of things, and I try to make them all coexist! 😉

When I'm not pushing keyframes, I'm exploring cities through psychogeography and listening to podcasts.
